【Application Overview】
In today’s society, there are many ways to communicate and appreciate art. Even personal expression of works has become equally available to the public, and everyone has easy access to works of art from all over the world.
However, it is difficult to select and deal with the vast number of images and films that are abundant in the world, and they are passing by at this very moment.
As methods of expressing art and forms of appreciating art has diversified, can we not think once again about “creating and appreciating”? Considering art, which has always been sincerely facing the self and society, as the hope to advance the times and humanity, this arts festival will deliver the evolving and spreading today’s expression of film to many people beyond the local community. We hope that “film,” which is closely related to time, will connect the past and present, and that all people, including artists and viewers, will have the courage to step forward into the future.

・All individuals, groups, regions, ages, professionals and amateurs are welcome to apply.
・Each individual or group may submit up to one submission.
・Entrants under 20 years of age at the time of submission must obtain the permission of a parent or guardian before submission.
・Works of contemporary art that use film as a means of expression.
・Film works must be 8 minutes and 19 seconds or less in length. (Including title and credit screen).
・Film works must be a stand-alone film (that can be viewed on a single screen).
・Works produced on or after January 1, 2020.
・Works that have already been released, selected, or nominated for awards are also eligible for submission. However, works that have already received awards (as of May 31, 2022) are not eligible for submission.
・Works must not be contrary to public order and morals.
