Introduciton
We are pleased to hold an exhibition showing the new works of Momoo Omuro, pâte de verre artist. Her works are all made with the same as an ancient glass process; even it is a big piece or a small cup. She takes a lot of time to sculpt the plaster mold; then puts powdered glass of various colors and fires them. After firing, each piece is meticulously polished. The same plaster mold cannot be used a second time, each work is a unique piece. Her small geometric pattern seems to come from an organic world. The work impression changes a lot from the morning natural light to the lighting time in the evening. In this exhibition, we will show several of her lampshades. It will be her second exhibition at Kyoto yamahon. Please visit us to see how beautiful her works.
