Introduction
The Kyoto-based composer and musician Marihiko Hara works widely, creating music for contemporary art, stage performances, and films, and his upcoming plans for 2019 involve a range of projects, works, and compositions. This is the first performance in a theatre venue of “FOR A SILENT SPACE,” his irregular series of chamber music concerts. Featuring compositions with a focus on piano as well as improvised music using field recordings and electronic sound, the event offers a superb opportunity to enjoy the world of Marihiko Hara to the full.
