Since the birth of “Rinpa” at the end of the Momoyama period in Kyoto, “Rinpa” appeared in various periods of the arts and crafts and continued to give birth to new successions and new creations. Searching through the Rinpa beauty code that is part of the Japanese DNA of aesthetic consciousness, the exhibition point of view concerns thinking over this in terms of the “Rinpa code” found in pre-modern, modern and contemporary art in the terms of “nature,” “city” and “abstraction.”
