About
The ceramics of China have historically been the most technically advanced in the world. These wares, kiln fired and coated with a variety of glazes, have myriad forms, colors, and designs. This exhibition introduces Chinese ceramics from the museum collection which have been donated in recent years. These ceramic wares will be shown together with a selection of Chinese bronzes, metalwork, and sculptures also generously gifted to the museum.
