Overview
COHJU contemporary art is delighted to present a solo exhibition by Yuto Yonemura, Gaaa Wiii from October 15th to November 19th, 2022.
Born in Osaka in 1996, Yonemura Yuto graduated from Kyoto University of Art and Design, Department of Arts and Crafts, Integrated Sculpture Course, and currently lives and works in Kyoto. His sculptures, which he calls “superhuman statues,” are created using a variety of materials such as clay, stone, and FRP, based on his longing for and interest in overwhelming beings that transcend human knowledge.
This will be his first solo exhibition at our gallery since the group exhibition held last summer. It would be appreciated if you visit us to check his works in person.
