Description
Bernard Leach is a British potter who painted very unique and lively animals on ceramics.
Whereas he started his career as a painter, he was determined to be a potter being fascinated with decorating ‘Raku’ wares when he came to Japan.
This exhibition shows various animals, which are his favourite motif he learnt from both living in nature and traditional patterns, to create his own style.
